Session Types: Studio or Outdoor

The first step in deciding to do a session is figuring out if you would like a studio or outdoor session. There are some easy ways to know which session location will work best for you. I also recommend looking through the images on my blog for examples of both that catch your eye.

Studio Session

-I prefer a simple look; white backdrop, wood floors (this REALLY lets the kids and their clothes shine!)
-I am looking for baby or child portraits in the fall, winter or early spring and would rather not deal with bad weather
-I prefer a classic look to my portraits
-I am a senior who is looking for yearbook photos
-I prefer having my newborn portraits taken at your studio

Outdoor/On-Location Session

-I prefer relaxed, lifestyle portraits
-I am looking for family portraits
-I have a particular location in mind (such as a park, downtown or your home)
-I prefer a variety of backdrops and settings to my pictures
-I prefer having my newborn portraits taken in my home

Hi! I am very interested in getting pictures done of my 4 month old daughter, Preslee (possibly of my boyfriend and I with her too) . I have yet to find a photographer like you! I just love your work. I was wondering about pricing and availability. We’re hoping to get pictures done so we can use them for Christmas presents ๐Ÿ™‚ Also my mom and I run a business together and we need some pictures of her with our photo props for our website to advertise our christmas signs ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m looking forward to hearing back from you!
