Newborn: Mailey

This adorable little girl is only 6 days old, and she was such a great sleeper, if not a great curler! I met her parents through friends from church, and knew of her dad from our local youth worker’s group. I was really excited to do a newborn session because it has been a while, and they are just so much fun to shoot and edit! What is better than a scrunchy, sleepy, cuddle, teeny newborn?!

This scale is a recent find, and one I can’t wait to do more shoots with. I love this little antique/shabby chic store in town, Cattywampus. While we were in there last week I came across this scale and knew I had to have it! Thanks Mailey and Company for breaking it in!

I love this hat, and I was so excited to be able to use it again! It’s called an ‘happy elf’ hat, and I just adore it (and I’m thinking I might need one my size before winter rolls around again!)
