Digital Files {how-to}

I have gotten lots of questions about hi-res(olution) Digital Files, and thought I would do a post that covers how to get the most out of your digital file purchase. It is always my hope that after a session, your beautiful images get into albums that you love to show off and onto your walls as a daily reminder of the memories of life. Don’t just let them sit on a disk in your desk drawer!

When you get the DVD, it comes with reprint rights. What that means is that you can print your portraits up to 11″x14″, but I ask that you don’t edit them. Pretty simple. Now, let’s figure out how to get them off that disk and in your home!

What can you use your DVD for?

Awesome photo Christmas cards! I certainly offer them, but if you want to do the ordering yourself, I LOVE the products at Minted.com and TinyPrints.com

Fun gift ideas! Try Zazzle.com

How about Mother’s Day?

What Mom wouldn’t love a custom phone cover featuring her favorite little people? My favorite site for these is Gelaskins.com

What Dad wouldn’t want to rock one of these in his office? Sure beats a freebie from his insurance agent! I adore all the great calendar designs minted.com has, and am considering adding these to my gift giving next year!
