If you keep up with the blog, you know that my brother is currently in Afghanistan, serving with the Fighting 40, a courageous group of Seabees in the US Navy. My family is very close, and having him away from home has not been an easy transition for us. That said, we have never been more proud of him and the sacrifices he is making for our country. My thanks and gratitide goes farther than just my brother; I am thankful to each solidier and sailor, each husband, wife and child that makes our great country what it is, and helps to defend our freedom.
As a way to say thank you this holiday season, I am participating in Portraits of Love, sponsored by PMDA. There is more information about the program at http://www.pmdaportraitsoflove.com/families.php, but I can tell you that I am offering a free session to any family who would like to send a free portrait to their loved one who is serving overseas. This is in addition to the 15% military discount I give every single day, as a small token of my appreciation.
If you are interested in having your portrait taken during Portraits of Love, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 360.827.1609
And because no post is complete without a picture, one of my recent favorites of my brother.
