Sneak Peek: The Rice’s {FAMILY}

I love spending the afternoon with families that love each other! The minute I walked into the Rice Family’s house, the love and warmth of this family was apparent. Alex is a true blue boy…into legos and sharks and his John Deere bike. Aren’t they a lovely family?! Helena, thank you for allowing me to…

    Mr. Rice built our home and we live on Helena Ave! How funny that I stumble on their photos when looking for a photographer to shoot our now 3 month old son! Great photos by the way! Love them!

Giving is Awesome {2011}

Giving is Awesome is something that I have now participated in for two years. And each year my heart is touched by the nominating stories that come in, and through the meeting and photographing of the winners. I am so thankful that my client base, friends and family are willing to share the stories of…

    Hi Amanda. I am nominating my neighbor, Cheri. She is a single mother of 2 boys. Her husband was abusive and pays no child support. She works hard to keep a roof over their heads. Her son has numerous health issues and she hes many herself. When she gets sick shes in the hospital and has no income. The same goes for her son. Her work is commission and with the economy lets just say money is tight. She took down a oicture if her and her husband and theres an empty frame on her wall. Shes an amazing person with a great spirit. Tough situation with the boys father. She wasnt able to get her boys much for Christmas but she doesn’t let it get her down. How cool would it be to have a new picture in that frame to start off a brand new year 🙂

Sneak Peek: The Thompson Family {PORTRAITS OF LOVE}

Another day, another beautiful, fun family to photograph. Denise, you have two very cute, very funny kids. (It was ALMOST like uncle Andrew rubbed off a little, especially on Mr. Hayden. Too funny, that kid is!) These portrait of love sessions are so much fun, and again, such an honor to do. But there is…

Two of the cutest children around to say nothing about how adorable they are! Then there’s Mom!!! Where did “she” go? Beautiful, simply beautiful! A beautiful and amazing young woman, daughter, sister, wife and Mom!!

Sneak Peek: Chloe {SENIOR}

What a day! I shot two sessions, staring with this darling senior, Chloe, in the mist today. Most people think grey skies are bad for pictures, and today Chloe and I showed them they couldn’t be more wrong! Chloe, thanks for being such a trooper today! The pictures are worth all the raindrops! Be sure…
