Out of the ‘office’

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. My husband and I spent the last several days packing up our house for the big move. And no, it’s not across the country…it’s actually across town, to our FIRST HOME. We are closing any day now, and until then, we are staying with my grandparents (all my stuff, office included? it’s in the garage…) So, look forward to posts of our new home soon (I love the paint colors!) and some sessions coming up!

New Print Presentations: Funky Frames

I just got these today and I am really digging them. These would be great printed as an 11×14 for your wall, as a mounted 5×7 for your desk, or in one of the new accordian albums I am ready to debut any day now.

Sneak Peek: Lindsey

Lindsey is back on the blog! This cutie is 9 months old now, and she’s on the verge of being fully mobile. I have had so much fun watching her grow over the last few months…from sitting and hanging out to crawling and standing almost on her own. She was actually in a good mood this month, and we got outside for some pictures…we even got some smiles!

She always makes the best expressions!

She was not sure what she thought of the swings, but she was a trooper!

Ok, to borrow a Bobbi phrase..AYKM? Those eyes…stunning! Kris asked what I did to them, and the answer is nothing! I was feeding her at the end of the session and saw how great the light looked…I couldn’t resist getting a shot of them!

Senior Sneak Peek: Jonathan

Jonathan and I braved the unpredictable Washington rain on Wednesday to get these awesome pictures! I told him I was game to shoot in the rain if he was, and I am so glad we did. Jonathan, I hope as the weeks until graduation slip away, you take it all in, and best of luck next year at George Fox!

Be sure and add a comment below to help Jonathan win a free 8×10!

If you are interested in booking a session with Mandi McDougall Photography, e-mail me at If you are a friend of Jonathan’s and mention that when you book, you both receive $20 free print credit.

Sneak Peek: the Schlottmann Family

A few months ago we raffled off a portrait package for our youth group who is going to Poland next spring. Nancy won, and I had the pleasure of spending some time this afternoon with her extended family. Nancy has some ADORABLE grand kids!

And how cute is this storyboard?
