Mexico: The motherlode – Centralia/Olympia, Washington Photographer

Ok, so far I’ve had a few blog posts about Mexico, with some pictures. Get ready. Here are the rest…and there are a LOT!

This is Dionne, chillin’ on the beach. Dionne actually took picture of the beach that day. I didn’t. I took pictures of Dionne :)

Mexico: Dionne and Mike’s e-session – Centralia/Olympia, Washington Photographer

We went to Mexico with my best friend, Dionne, and her fiancee, Mike. They are getting married next spring in Las Vegas, and wanted some engagement style pictures taken so they can send out their Save the Dates. Monday (?) evening we headed up to the Oriental Lounge and then out to the beach for some rockin’ images!

I LOVE this one! What do you think she’s thinking??

Frollicking? How lovely!

I adore this wall. Could it be a prettier color? Dazzling!

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is my favorite. Absolute. The eyes, the colors, the stares…work it!

While we were at the wall, I had to do a few individal portraits. And once Mike got his goofy poses out of the way, we got a really nice one. :)

Let’s just be honest…she’s a stunner. She makes up this story about being non-photogenic…but we don’t believer her, do we??

Mexico: Post 2 – Centralia/Olympia, Washington Photographer

Alright, after quite the delay, I’m ready to show you more Mexico pictures. I got sick the last day we were there, and I still have the cough to show for it, which accounts for the delay. However, on with the pictures…

We arrived in Mexico on Friday, and on Saturday after checking out the pools we headed downtown to Mercado 28. It was…and adventure!

Dionne and Mike playing kissy-face in the pool

This was a cart outside Mercado 28. I love the colors.

It was so hot while we were there, so Kris and I wandered off to find something to drink…and did we ever! We’re pretty big PEPSI fans, you won’t find a Coke in our house…no way! So the real thing, in a glass bottle?! We’ll take two!

I made Kris sit on these steps on our walk back to the bus…I just liked them…

This was another one while we were walking back to the bus…Mike is carrying his man bag, and I love Dionne’s color combo.

We took the bus around Cancun as much as possible. It was not only cheap but fun and fast! I love this shot of Mike (GQ edition) on the bus.

That night we ate at the Oriental Lounge, which was my favorite restaurant. Check out the atmosphere!

They had yummy sushi (according to Dionne and Kris…)

Here is one last one of Dionne eating some soup…I love the little smirk on her face!

There will be more posts to come in the next few days…

We are in Mexico!! – Centralia/Olympia, Washington Photographer

We flew into Cancun on Friday, and can I just tell you….does life get any better than this??

Our rooms are gorgeous, the beach is FANTASTIC, the food and drinks have been awesome, and totally worth paying for all-inclusive….and the first night, after dinner, we got to release baby sea turtles on the beach. They were so cute….so so so cute and little and spastic, but cute.

This is one of the pools at our hotel….this is the loud, fun activity pool. We laid out here yesterday, and played some water volleyball.

Happy First Year Hun! – Centralia/Olympia, Washington Photographer

A day late, I know. We were busy, ok?

Yesterday (Monday, August 4th) was our first anniversary. One whole year of being married. It feels like about half that time! I can’t believe that a whole year, 366 days (it’s a leap year) has gone by.

One year ago yesterday, we woke up in Centralia at our seedy hotel, had breakfast with our girls and guys, and then started to get married for the wedding. I could tell 101 stories, but there isn’t time. I do remember the first time I saw him, in all of our wedding get-up, for pictures. The ceremony is a blur…I remember that I cried all the way down the aisle, and Kris sobbed through his vows. Then we kissed, and walked outside. Ahh, we made it. Our reception was a blast, dancing and seeing all of our friends. Now, a year later, I’m happily married to my man. He is all I could ask for and more….he puts up with me, day after day, he’s sweet and he even does the dishes. What more could a girl ask for?

As our family called to wish us a happy anniversary yesterday, my little brother was my favorite. His myspace message read: yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa think a year ago u and kris swore ur love for each other and all ur friends and family were with u.

how cute is he?

to finish, here is a picture from our wedding:

I love you, Brat!
