My Top 10 of 2014 {#8}

{I have decided to show and tell my favorite shots from 2014….often the pictures that grip me are not the picture-perfect poses, but the images that tell a story…}

This shot of Maddison was one I knew would be amazing the second I spied it through my view finder. I LOVE incorporating a family’s passions into my sessions, and newborn sessions are no exception! I’ve done some pretty fun pictures, but this one is definitely at the top of that list. She  was a perfect little baby for us, and this must go up on the studio walls soon!

Karli {newborn portraits}

It has been all too long since I’ve blogged – and that’s about to change! With imminent changes coming to Facebook, I decided it is time to start sinking more time and energy into my blog again! I will be posting deals here, as well as sending them out to my newsletter list (more on signing up for that soon!) In the meantime, what better way to kick off blogging again than by sharing a recent newborn – sweet Karli!

Leave a comment below and help Karli’s family get a free 8×10 print! 10 comments is all it takes!

As a small business, word of mouth advertising means the world to me – and helps me provide for my family. I hope that if you like what you see, you will share with others!

Meet Madi {children’s portraits}

I am blessed to do this job I love so much, and it really is meeting people like sweet, feisty Madi that makes it so fulfilling. Madi is a fighter. She’s been through more in her short life than a lot of us will in a lifetime. And through it all, she keeps smiling. Meeting her family, hearing their story and praying for her during her surgery and recovery was a highlight of my year. I cannot wait to see what lies in Madi’s future, because I know it will be bright.

Be sure to leave some love for Madi and her family (add a comment below) to help them win a free 8×10!

If you are interested in booking a session with Mandi McDougall Photography, e-mail me at If you are a friend of  Christina’s and mention that when you book, you receive a $50 print credit.
